Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (13 October 1948 – 16 August 1997), a
Pakistani musician, was primarily a Qawwali singer, Qawwali being the
devotional music for Sufis. Considered as one of the greatest voices ever
recorded, Nusrat Fateh Ali possessed an extraordinary range of vocal abilities and
could deliver the highest level of intensity for several hours at a stretch. He
was known to introduce Qawwali music to the international audiences and has
been looked up to ever since. He's known as "King of Qawwal".

Records that Khan lived to see finished. It was nominated for the Grammy Award
